Hello, I want to use Raspberry Pi 3 in my car as a mediaplayer connected to a small display via HDMI, also RPI3 would be possibly connected to internet via USB Mobile Broadband and was wondering is 3 Port USB Raspberry Pi Car Charger - 5V 7.2A (36W) enough to power RPI3 since it only apparently provides 5V 2.4A per port while RPI3 is stated to require 5V 2.5A.

I do understand that usage of USB Mobile Broadband might bring extra power requirements, and it's not necessary as long I get RPI3 working.

Hi,

Yes, I would think so.

2.5A is the max required if you're using all the Pi's USB ports to capacity, I don't think that missing 100mA is going to make a difference in your case!
