Does anyone have experience using the IR-CUT adjustable lens for wildlife photography (or anything else)?
Could it be set up to switch automatically between night and day modes?

As indicated in the WiKi - http://www.waveshare.com/wiki/RPi_IR-CUT_Camera - You can toggle the IR filter by wiring up one of the GPIO pins to the camera module. Then by switching the state of the GPIO pin will enable/disable the IR filter.

An automatic solution would be to wire up a light sensor to the Pi, that when detected night, enabled night vision mode, then disable when light is detected.
