First of all I should say hi, this is my first post.

I've ordered the ModMyPi PiOT relay board (and various other bits) and I'm considering ordering the ModMyPi PiOT Relay Board Case to house it.

One complexity is I also need to connect a couple of sensor inputs to the gpio. Is there such a thing as a ribbon cable with passthrough pins, to enable the sensors to be connected as well? Or a ribbon cable with a double header?

Or is it possible to connect the PiOT relay board using jumper cables to only specific pins, rather than tying up the whole gpio with a ribbon cable?

Alternatively I could fit the triple GPIO Multiplexing Expansion Board on top of the Pi, using one slot for the ribbon cable and the others for sensor inputs, but the case looks snug. Can someone please post some pictures to show the space inside?

TIA, and thanks also for all the brilliant products.

you can fit multiple header plugs to the same ribbon cable, just add extra sockets or plugs. try not to reuse the same GPIO pins (except where appropriate).

As Doug said, you can attach as many plug/sockets to a ribbon cable as you like - https://www.modmypi.com/raspberry-pi/gp ... --1-7-grey

I've just put together one of the Relay Cases and unfortunately there's not enough room to add the Multiplexing HAT, as when you plug the ribbon cable in it fouls on the top of the case.

Here is a pic of the inside of the case:

That's brilliant thanks, I had no idea you could just press on an extra connector like that, should be fine for my needs.
