The website implies that the ‘Pi-DAC+ audio card’ is a superior alternative to the ‘Cirrus Logic Audio Card’, but I am not clear is it includes any audio input for recording or sound processing. I want to connect a guitar to it. Could someone clarify if this is a suitable card?

As far as I'm aware, the Pi-DAC+ is an output audio board only.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the information.

So I am better trying to get a Cirrus Logic audio card if I can, as I understand it has input options.

That might be your best bet.
