Hi, just been browsing around the internet and although the Raspberry Pi has been around for a while, I've never really paid much attention to it.
That is until now. I have a squeezebox music system which functions very well. One of my frustrations with it was I couldn't get music into the bathroom without having to take a SB Boom with me. I simply wanted a way to just walk in, use my mobile phone and play my music.
I've just looked again at the Raspberry Pi and see it has got an amplifier board that you can use with it.
So my plan is to place the Pi in the ceiling void or some and hook up some 4ohm waterproof speakers in my bathroom ceiling using squeezebox as the client.
I notice that the amplifier can power the Pi and rather than just buy a Pi kit, (Pi with sd card & power supply), was wondering if I needed an up-rated power supply to power the Pi and amp at the same time?
Also, I would imagine I would need a different case too?
So what I'm asking is:
1x Raspberry Pi (vers 3)
1x 8gb sd card
1x Amp (which one should I get?)
1x Power supply (which one should I get?)
1x case (which one should I get?)
Any pointers would be great...
