Hi,

Am trying to record stereo audio signals with the 2 ADCs on the UPS Pico & save as .wav . Eventually I want to use the Adafruit Electret Capsule Microphone to generate the signal. I can display the data, collected from the audio output on my Laptop, in the LxTerminal using:
data = i2c;read_word-data(0x69, 0x05)
but puzzled how to use pyaudio to sample, buffer & record the signals in /var/tmp

Been searching the web for hints & looked at pyaudio, Audacity, etc. I have noticed that you can get usb soundcards but want everything inside the RaPiTablet I am making.

Any help much appreciated, Walter

Hi Walter,

I've not used pyaudio before I'm afraid, but I have had a little google!

Does this help at all?

I'll be honest - it looks difficult :D
