Hi all
I am a new member but old in age as I retired from work 8 years ago. My profession was Mechanical and Electrical engineer. Since my retirement, I took up Computers and electronics as a hobby and lately started fiddling with Raspberry Pi 3. This is new to me especially when it comes to buying certain accessories for the Pi.
So my first question : What is the difference between RGB backlight positive LCD and RGB backlight negative LCD.
Is the item in the above question OK for Raspberry Pi 3 and how is it attached to the Pi.
Any help will be appreciated.
Tks and regards

Great to have you on board!

RGB Positive

You have a Red/Green/Blue background with black characters

RGB Negative

You have a black background with Red/Green/Blue characters

Yes, it's compatible with the Pi 3. However, you'll need to use one of these: ... xtra-tall/

To raise it slightly above the Pi 3 USB ports
