Hello everyone,

I figured the introductions section was as good a place to start as any, so here I am.

I've found the tutorial links in ModMyPi's item descriptions incredibly useful (I still refer to http://www.modmypi.com/blog/how-to-set- ... on-raspian every time I set up WiFi) so this forum should be great for getting advice.

I'm predominantly a Pi person, but I've dabbled a bit with an Arduino pro micro. Python's definitely my thing, but I'm slowly getting my head around other languages (C et al for the Arduino, JavaScript & Visual Basic for work).

Generally my projects involve the camera module, WiFi stuff and blinking lights and my I'll-get-round-to-it-eventually list includes making my 'robot' less of an RC car and more autonomous.

I look forward to stealing all your ideas :D

Hello everyone,
I am glad to be a part of this forum. I purchased my raspberry pi about 1 year ago, and I simply love it. I am in the process of building a robot, and this forum will be a great place to share stories, and/or problems I encounter.

Hi, I'm Doug.

I'm fairly active on the raspberry Pi forums and I like fiddling about with I/O stuff.

I've built an web controlled Dalek and a Roaring T-Rex from Pi's so far, but I have a bunch of other projects on the go too.

Hi Jake,

I moved my reply to a new thread, to avoid filling the greetings thread with pictures.
