Hi, my name is Jim and I would like to purchase a number of Raspberry Pi computers for my pupils. I have a number of monitors and tvs and some keyboards and mice. I have compiled the following list _
Pi model B £29.99
PSU £4.99

I need VGA convertors and I was wondering what the difference is between the black one for £10 and the official one for £17.99.
Also I couldn't find simple NOOBS pre loaded 8gb micro SD cards with an SD adaptor on the site. Am wondering how much they are.

Thank you,

Hi Jim,

Not much difference between the black and white VGA adaptors. The official one is "officially supported", the black one is just OEM type (and therefore cheaper), you won't see any noticeable difference. Ultimately, it's personal preference and some people like to use only official parts, others aren't bothered!

SD cards and parts are available here: ... d-adaptors
