hi,

can this case be adapted to use longer metal spacers in order to accommodate a Raspberry Pi 2 with a Piface Digital 2 board connected to it, or are there any bits that won't fit together if using longer spacers?

i understand that if this is possible the case may not balance anymore on the stand, but that's not an issue for me as i only need to mount the case against a wall, without stand of course.

You can use longer spacers - it will all still fit together! Longer spacers would simply push that back plate further away so you can accommodate HATs

FYI - The current spacers are M3 F/F x 30mm.

You're correct that it might not balance on the stand correctly if longer spacers are used, but this isn't a problem for you!
