Re: Getting MotionEye OS to Activate GPIO Pin With Motion

You'd probably be better asking that question over on the MotionEye forum - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/motioneye

Re: Pi zero Wireless dead

Firstly, could you post your order ID please. Secondly, have you tried formatting the SD card and reinstalling Rasbian? The fact you have had to turn the Pi on and off a few times (by simply cutting the power I assume) probably means the SD card has just become corrupted. Please follow this guide to...

Re: Pi B+ SD Card Reader not working, doesn't boot properly via USB

Hi Dave, thank you for your help, using an Ethernet cable I was able to ssh into the Pis! I just have another question for my next order: Can I use the zero w's to create a mesh network and is it possible to ssh into a pi (3b+ or 0w) using a mesh network? Kind regards, Paul Great, glad you are able...

Re: Faulty usb hub

MODMYPI LTD - Order 253018 7 Port Raspberry Pi USB Hub - UK Plug 5V 1A MMP-0184 A few years ago I bought one on these hubs and it still works perfectly with Raspberry Pi 3 connected to 2 USB hard drives. So I naturally chose another hub of the same type to upgrade another Raspberry Pi system. Unfor...

Re: pi video out not working

The new one arrived yesterday & it is going ok so far! I won't get it posted until the end of the week, so might hang on an extra day or 2 and see if that's ok ....... We do know about shutting down, and I can't be certain it has absolutely never happened, but my Son assures me he does shut down th...

Re: Pi B+ SD Card Reader not working, doesn't boot properly via USB

Hi, thank you for your reply, I wasn't aware u can't enable the 3 b+ to SSH via USB. But you can still ssh via Ethernet, right? I'm trying to get an Ethernet adapter for my MacBook by tomorrow. Currently I can't connect to the serial port due to lack of a cable but if that's what it takes I can get...

Re: Run a script or command during shutdown

You can edit the fssd script PiModules\code\python\upspico\picofssd\build\scripts-2.7\picofssd You should be able to find the shutdown command within the script if not GPIO.input(PULSE_PIN): # pin is low, this is shutdown signal from pico self.counter += 1 self.log.warning("Lost power supply, Pi wil...

Re: Pi B+ SD Card Reader not working, doesn't boot properly via USB

Do you have the order ID that contains the Pi and SD card please?

You can't SSH over USB with the Pi 3B+ (this is only possible with the Pi Zero) - Are you able to hook up the serial lines and connect via the serial console to see if the Pi is booting - https://elinux.org/RPi_Serial_Connection

Re: pi video out not working

More problems! My own SD card has stopped working now as well. No green LED & I cannot get it formatted either - similar problems to before.... Hmm strange?! How are you using the Pi? When turning off the Pi, are you shutting it down properly or simply pulling the power out/turning the main...
