Re: Raspberry Pi Zero W not starting

Hi Tom,

Sorry to hear this!

Are you a new user? Or do you have experience of the Raspberry Pi?

Have you tried formatting the SD card and reinstalling Rasbian - http://s.modmypi.com/noobs

This sounds like either a bad SD, or bad SD image install.

Re: PiModules support sucks, any change to get info from them?

Hi, I'm afraid to say that we are also awaiting new firmware. I'm aware that there have been personal issues with the main project developer over the past year, of which I can't go into details for obvious reasons. However, I'm aware that the project should be back on track now. That does not excuse...

Re: Faulty GOPiGo3

Hi, If you have re-loaded the software and the problem is worse, then it would suggest a software/calibration issue rather than a hardware issue. Robert did suggest some additional troubleshooting you could complete in his earlier post (using Bloxter & sending pictures of the encoders), I'm sure a v...

Re: Faulty GOPiGo3

Hi Henry, I am genuinely sorry for the frustration you've experienced up to this point with the product. I would like to assist further, however a task such as re-formatting an SD card is a part of the learning experience with the Raspberry Pi. It is extremely likely that you will need to complete t...

Re: Faulty GOPiGo3

Hi Henry, The following guide demonstrates where the microSD card is on the Raspberry P. You'll need to remove it, by pulling it out of the microSD socket. You may need to disassemble the Raspberry Pi from the GoPiGo to gain easy access to the microSD socket: https://www.modmypi.com/blog/getting-sta...

Re: Faulty GOPiGo3

Hi Victoria, I'm sorry to hear that the replacement did not fix the issue. That is extremely unusual. I'll have an additional replacement shipped out today for delivery tomorrow (I'll get our team to test the unit to ensure function before it's sent). Again, I'm really sorry for the hassle around th...

Re: Faulty hardware

Hi,

Sorry to hear this!

Could you please swap the two LED's over side to side to ensure it's the LED that's faulty and not the board?

Thanks!

Re: PICO HV3.OA not charging

When I first installed the charge light was on, but I don't believe it was charging. the FSSD worked initially but only because the batt was fresh, I think. Yeah, my thoughts is that maybe the battery is a dud, and it's never charged. You've checked all the wires/connections etc.? when you say "rei...

Re: PICO HV3.OA not charging

Hi,

Could you please confirm your order ID for me?

You're running this on a "standard" version of Raspian?

Do you know if the battery has ever been charging?

Maybe try re-updating the firmware, and re-installing from scratch?
