It is possible to manually adjust the focus of the Pi camera, but this does involve breaking some sealing glue on the camera. The lens on the Pi Camera Board is shipped with a fairly long focal length so it needs adjusting for the close up 'macro' photography required inside a birdbox. Fortunately,...

Have you tried holding the HDMI cable in place where it connects to the Pi? Wonder if there is a dodgy connection there.

Could you post a picture of the HDMI port on the Pi, both top and bottom view if possible please.

Sounds like the Rune OS you have installed is for the Pi2

When you turn the keyboard on do you initially get a flashing orange light, which then stops and you get a solid blue light?

They are not compaitble out of the box, because of the way the pi is secured within the camera box.

You can make it fit however, but you will need to source some additional standoffs.

The standoffs you need to find are:

3x Male to Female 4-40 x 7/16"
3x Male to Female 4-40 x 1/2"
