Re: RTC on UPS PICO

Hi DM, Now Jake might have to correct me if I'm wrong here, but... When the Pi shuts down, the PiCo goes into a low power mode, drawing a tiny amount of current from it's battery. So it should keep the emulated RTC ticking along. If the Pi goes without mains power for a long period of time however, ...

Re: PiHut 7 port usb hub faulty

Hi digisam,

It does indeed sound like the HUBs power supply is failing.

I can offer you a replacement, refund or credit voucher to spend on our website. If you let me know which you'd prefer I'll get it arranged for you.

Thanks

Re: Order number for the previous post

Sorry, forgot to add the order number to the previous post, and I can't edit it as it hasn't been moderated yet. #125492 Perhaps you could edit the post and then delete this one. Ta I added the order number, then noticed that you had already done it, I'm half asleep today. Haha, no worries. I just ...

Re: email alerts/notifications not working.

Hi Trevor,

Thanks for pointing this out! With the launch of the RPi3 we had to do a server upgrade to handle increase in web traffic. In the manic rush I forgot to rename the host name, and add the reverse DNS lookup.

All sorted now thought.

Thanks again!

Re: Screws to modmypi modular case

Yeah using a longer self tapping screw with a tall "washer" would work as well.

Re: PI 2 undervoltage warning

If you have tried multiple power supplies, and had nothing plugged into the Pi other than a monitor and you still get the power rainbow, then I'd be inclined to say its a faulty Pi. All through that does seem a bit odd.

I'll get sales to contact you and arrange a return.

Re: Rpi3 vs Rpi2 casees

The two new Official Raspberry Pi 3 Cases are compatible: https://www.modmypi.com/raspberry-pi/cases/official

The Pi 3 will fit in the majority (if not all) Pi 2 cases, however if the Pi 2 case has light pipes for the power/activity led, they will not be in-line as the leds on the Pi 3 have moved.
