Hi

Firstly I am completely new to raspberry pi, am learning with my almost 4 year old daughter. So apologies for any idiot questions. For our first project we were hoping to build an ir camera trap.

1. is the PIR Infrared Motion Sensor (HC-SR501) compatible with the Pi Zero, it's not mentioned on the list
2. is a Pi zero going to be OK to build a camera trap
3. does anyone have a link to a good straightforward guide to wiring and programming a camera trap from parts not from a kit.

Thank you for any advice

It is indeed compatible

The Pi Zero is the slowest, least powerful of all the Pis, but it is able to run a camera without problems. It'll depend what you want to do with the images from the camera.

This one I can't answer I'm afraid.
