I'm using my headless Pi to transmit data to a Website via an Ethernet connected router. My Pi stays continuously connected to the router as I can always talk to it via the other computers in the house. My problem is that the Pi drops its connection to the Internet every few hours and i can only regain access if I execute a sudo reboot command. Can any one provide me with some advice. I am new to the coding language and file structure.

First thing I would do is grab a different SD card, format it and install Rasbian - https://s.modmypi.com/noobs

Then see if you get the same issue with a fresh installation and nothing plugged in to the GPIO pins or USB ports of the Pi.

You could also try a different power supply, make sure its a good 5.1V 2.5A PSU
