Raspberry Pi Zero W won't turn ON

I recently purchased a Raspberry Pi Zero W and today it arrived.
I flashed octoprint into a 8GB microsd card and powered the Pi with a 5V 1A power supply that I took from another Pi.
I plugged in the power supply and the Pi to a regular monitor through the miniHDMI outlet, no more peripherals, simply because no light was turning on.
I was wondering if I can return it in order to get a non-faulty one.
Thanks

My Order ID: #234376

Please could you try formatting the SD card and installing Rasbian as outlined in this guide - http://s.modmypi.com/noobs
Please make sure to use the latest version of NOOBs, downloaded from here - https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/noobs/

Do you also have a different power supply you could try? Ideally at least 2A.

As you said, I tried wiping octoprint to flash NOOBs.
I put the microsd back on the Pi and then tried 4 different power supplies.
The first 5V 1A (the previous one), the second 5V 1.2A, the third 5V 2A and the fourth 5V 2.5A.
None of them made the Pi work (not even a blinky led).
The only thing I can add is that going up with the power supplies amperage it started raising the Pi temperature underneath the main chip, making it really untouchable at 2-2.5A.

If its getting really hot with those high amp PSU's it probably means there's an internal short! Thanks for trying that though.

I will have sales contact you to arrange a return for replacement.

I'm writing this here just to let you know another Pi was sent to me and today it arrived.
It works flawlessly, thank you very much!
