Issue with Anidées 6 Port 60W power supply

Post by nilsk » Sat Oct 27, 2018 2:52 pm

Orderid: 242015

I have some undervoltage issues with the Anidees power hub I bought on order 242015 with my raspberry pi. No matter what cables I use I get the undervoltage symbol on the screen constantly. Even when I am using only one of the ports on the hub I get the same issue.
I have tried with the usb cables i bought on the same order and a coulpe of others (samsung and a noname cable), but still the same problem.
When I use an official Raspberri pi wallplug supply everything is fine.

Is the usb hub really delivering enough power og could this be defective?

We've just tested it with a 0.5m 20AWG cable and it works fine with the 3B+

I'd recommend looking at getting a good 20AWG cable. Higher AWG cables/cheap cables have larger resistances, resulting in voltage drops, which is why you are getting the low voltage symbol.
