Does not connect to monitor

Post by sbgo » Thu Jun 13, 2019 11:36 am

Hi
we have
Otrum Digital Signage Player
- Includes Raspberry Pi: Raspberry Pi 3 B **R..
- Monitor Cable Select: No Thanks!
- Select Case Colour: KKSB Black/Stainless..
- Micro SD Card: 16GB Otrum Software ..
- Power Supply Select: White Official - UK/

Rasbery and TV are connected to the same power source, and turn on at the same time. In this case, the TV does not see raspberry. If you turn on the power of raspberry after turning on the TV, everything works as needed. thing is that TV must be turned on at first and raspberry the second. Is there any configuration on TV to make it workable ?Screen Model is LG49sh7DD-B

I don't know. I think you'll need to make sure the TV is powered, even in standby, before the Pi is powered on, due to how the Pi's HDMI will signal when its on.
